On April 20th, 2019, we launched our first collection (Season 0) at Fred Segal Malibu. Since the very beginning, joy, comfort, and sustainability have always been at the forefront of the DBD experience. 

We firmly believe that clothing should be able to uplift you, provide true comfort, and help give back to our community at large. As such, we donated 10% of the proceeds from our first collection to Heal The Bay, which is an environmental non-profit dedicated to making the coastal waters of greater Los Angeles safe, healthy and clean.

The launch was complete with custom rosé, goodie bags, fresh baked brownies, a vintage turquoise 1956 Thunderbird convertible for photo ops, live music, and various surprise gifts.

We also believe in supporting other artists who are thinking outside the box. For Season 0, we collaborated with Isabelle Brourman (@is11a), Gracie Warwick (@got.legs), and Psychic Stitch (@psychic.stitch).

We are proud to have launched our brand and first collection at an LA boutique as iconic as Fred Segal. Our in-store collection sold out in just three days, as did our online offering.
